Naomi F. Muffuletto, LPC is a licensed professional counselor and has been working in the mental health field since 2012. She received her Psychology/Sociology undergraduate degree from Mississippi College in 2002. Naomi worked in Pharmaceutical Sales for ten years, before returning back to school where she pursued her passion and life goal to become a counselor. She returned to Mississippi College in 2011 and received a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling.
Since receiving her Masters in counseling Naomi has worked at Three Oaks Behavioral Health and Live Oak Psychological Associates. At Three Oaks she was a clinical assistant, the program director for the adolescent department, and currently she is a consulting therapist conducting individual and group therapy with adults and adolescents. At Live Oak she works with individuals and families.
Naomi works with adults and adolescents on a broad range of issues. Ranging from, but not limited too, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, women’s issues, grief, marriage, addiction, shame, codependency and spirituality. She is passionate about overall health and working with clients as they achieve their desired goals.
Naomi has faced many challenges in her life that led to a genuine compassion and desire to work with others who are struggling. She believes in hope, vulnerability, peace and experiencing these through seeking whole-hearted living with our mind, body, and spirit.
Naomi’s goal as a therapist is for her client’s to experience the power of healing and being fully known; in an environment that promotes safety, trust, non-judgement, vulnerability, and acceptance. Her belief is that everyone, no matter how hopeless or stuck they may feel, can experience life satisfaction and discover purpose and meaning.
Outside of being a therapist Naomi enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family and friends, loves capturing moments with photography, exercising, reading, writing, and admiring the beauty in life and nature.
